Trust & verification
How verification works
Three checks sit behind a Praxium listing, and they are not equally strong. What each one proves, how many listings have passed it today, and what this directory still does not check.
Matched to a Google Business profile
Each listing is bound to a Google place id, and rating, review count and open status are read from that public profile on a rolling basis. This is automated. It proves the business exists as Google knows it, and it proves nothing about the services.

Checked by hand
A person opens the website, confirms the phone number and reads the service menu, then stamps the listing with the date they did it. This is the check the badge is about, and it is the slow one.

Confirmed with the business
When an owner claims a page, we confirm they represent the studio before any change they submit goes live. Claimed studios running on Praxium carry the partner badge.
1 of 3,406 listings
Counts are computed from the live directory on each revalidation, from 3,406 listed studios.
This is wellness-directory verification, not a medical or clinical credential. It confirms a business is real, reachable, and represented accurately. It is not a statement about the quality or safety of any specific service, and it is not a guarantee of either.
Limits
What we don't verify yet
Named so a reader can weigh a listing correctly, rather than inferring that everything on it has been checked.
Field-level provenance
A listing carries one verification date for the whole record. We do not yet record where each individual field came from or when it was last confirmed, so a listing verified in March may still show a price captured earlier. Per-field provenance is built into the data model and has no records behind it, which is why this page reports a record-level date and nothing finer.
Prices and hours over time
Session prices, membership terms and opening hours are captured from public sources at a point in time and are not re-checked on a schedule. Treat them as a starting point for a conversation with the studio, and confirm before you travel.
Equipment, staff and credentials
We do not inspect a studio’s equipment, audit its maintenance, or check the licences of the people working there. A modality on a listing means the studio says it offers that service, and nothing about how it is delivered.
Health claims a studio makes
A verified listing is not an endorsement of anything the studio says about outcomes. What Praxium is willing to state about a modality lives on the modality guide, with the evidence grade and sources behind it, and it is deliberately more cautious than most marketing copy in this category.
Anything on this list that turns out to be wrong on a live page ends up in the corrections log.
The proof
What a verified listing looks like
Real studios that passed all three checks. The ✓ Verified partner badge on the card means exactly that — rating and review count come from the studio’s live public profile, and the website, phone and service menu were reviewed by hand.
