Glastonbury, CT
HOTWORX Glastonbury bills itself as the first infrared studio in Connecticut. It sits in the Shops at Somerset between Black House White Market and Jos A. Bank, just off Route 3, and its nurse-and-veteran ownership pitches the 24-hour format at busy working women.

First visit
Staffed hours are Monday to Thursday 11am–8pm, Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 9am–2pm; outside those windows members let themselves in. Bring a HOTWORX mat and towel for the 30-minute isometric sessions and trainers for the 15-minute HIIT rounds. Each sauna takes at most three people per session, so reserve a slot instead of dropping in, and note the studio is around the circle from the AT&T store if you are hunting for the entrance.
