Sechrist Industries manufactures monoplace hyperbaric oxygen chambers, and has since expanded into low-pressure gas mixers, medical stretchers, and other hospital equipment; the company was founded in 1973 by Ron Sechrist and states over 50 years in hyperbaric medicine. It claims to supply more monoplace hyperbaric chambers than all other manufacturers combined, with over 2,800 installed in the USA alone, supported by a network of more than 100 domestic and international distributors. Its manufacturing facility is vertically integrated, including complete acrylic tube casting and finishing — which Sechrist describes as the only such capability in the US — alongside in-house machining, a paint shop, and assembly and testing.
