Does underrepresented mean a city needs another studio?
No. It only compares observed modality share within this research sample. It does not measure demand, economics, capacity, consumer intent, or competitive strength.
Why are ZIP and radius searches unavailable?
The reviewed source set does not have sufficient coordinate coverage for a reliable radius analysis. The preview refuses that filter instead of presenting false precision.
Is this the current Praxium directory?
No. This is an archival June 19, 2026 research-workbench preview. A refreshed, public-safe freeze is required before current-data claims can ship.
How is the representation index calculated?
Observed modality share inside the local sample, divided by the same share in the reference set, scaled so 100 means equal representation — and only computed when both sides clear minimum sample thresholds. Below the threshold the tool shows an insufficient-sample state instead of a number.
Can I use this to pick a city for a new studio?
Not on its own. It describes one dated research sample of observed businesses. A site decision needs demand evidence, local economics, and competitive work this preview explicitly does not do — pair it with the economics calculator's downside case rather than treating an index as a green light.
